"Jubilee" by Linda McCuean

Original design in the tradition of red and green quilts. All work on the quilt was done by machine, and it was quilted via a longarm quilting machine.

This quilt was inspired by a Jenny Haskins pattern, "Beyond the Color Purple." It is machine-embroidered, and was quilted by Diane Trottier.

Insects Galore quilt

"Insects Galore" by Elana E. Schreiber

The construction of this quilt is unusual, says the quilter, because "the flowers and insects are quilted as individual pieces before being appliqued to the background and each other." The quilt was begun in a Velda Newman workshop.

A bowl of cherries quilt

"A Bowl of Cherries" by Patti Slason

This design was made in remembrance of cattails at the beach growing through a one-holer outhouse. The quilt, made for the 2003 Hoffman challenge, was exhibited at Houston and Paducah, etc.

Green Romance quilt

"Green Romance" by Diana Reinhardt Annis

The quilter combined her knowledge of Redwork with information learned in a class with Karen McTavish, and another with Cheryl Mieneke-Johnson, to create this lovely quilt.

Gone Quilting-Another time in history

"Gone Quilting- Another Time in History"

This quilt was made by Sandra Koehler and represents "Pioneer America and its women and quilting bees and how, in spite of the difficulties of the time, they always found time for their quilts and quilting."
