A close friend of mine will be helping to install a wonderful, traveling exhibit of Japanese kimono at the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, New York. Entire books have been written about kimono. The museum will display 90 of them. Please visit the website below for details of events, and times. By the way, in Japanese, the plural of the word “kimono” is “kimono” (no “s”). Japanese culture, traditions, and literature have fascinated me for a long time now.
