an e-book on CD
compiled by Patricia Lynne Grace Cummings

This is a collection of more than two hundred designs traced exactly as found on an antique quilt top and quilt, that were originally made in New Hampshire or found their way here. The only provenance information is located by the name "Emma" and her initials, on one of the pieces, and the date "1898."
These designs are charming, whimsical, and full of life and cross a broad range of artistic depictions. Flowers, animals, owls, a cupid, teapots, designs based on doilies, birds, an inkwell with feathers, and children and their dog fishing are just some of the motifs included.
With this e-book, you can easily view all of the pages, print the ones you would like to trace onto cloth to embroider, or print the entire book and keep the pages in sleeves within a notebook, for access in your studio for quick inspiration.
The designs can be used to make a quilt, put that quilt in a show, give away a baby quilt, etc., in other words, normal personal use.
The designs are not intended for commercial use (reselling/redistribution), or digitization.
There are some really neat old designs on the original two antique pieces, many of which appear to have been drawn by the needleworker, as I have not seen them elsewhere, in all my romping through hundreds/ (actually, thousands) of Redwork designs.
The book is available by special request. Please inquire at: pat at quiltersmuse dot com.
